I was born in San Antonio, but I moved around a lot growing up. I went to four different elementary schools, two different middle schools, and three different high schools. But for some reason, I always considered San Antonio my home. It’s where I spent some of the most formidable years of my adolescence. Some of my core ideologies and worldviews were developed while I was there. And most of all, it’s there that I realized that I could finally be myself. At the end of the day, I’m a street kid from San Antonio who had his life changed by Jesus and ended up starting a church in the city he grew up in.
